• By default, Twisted Servers deploys Counter-Strike 1.6 servers with VAC enabled.

  • To check or modify, open your server.cfg and locate the line sv_lan 0 (which ensures the server isn’t LAN-only) and verify -secure is in your server’s startup parameters.

  • VAC is typically controlled via the startup command line, which Twisted Servers manages automatically. If VAC is ever disabled inadvertently, contact Twisted Servers Support for assistance in re-enabling it.
