• Within the same server.cfg file, look for the line that starts with rcon_password.

  • Set it to a secure, custom password. (e.g., rcon_password "MySecurePass")

  • Save the file and restart the server.

  • In-game, press the console key (usually the ` key) and type rcon_password "MySecurePass" to authenticate before issuing RCon commands.
